GNSS map-matching using Particle Filter
The concept of Map-Matching is implemented, where the estimated position of the user obtained after the implementation of the estimator (PF) is merged with the map information. These maps can be used to provide a priori information on the receiver trajectory and act as assistance data. The performance of classical and Bayesian filters are analyzed and compared.

PVT Computation of GPS Satellites
This project was dedicated to the computation of position, velocity and time of GPS satellites tracked at a point and the position of the user. The signals from the GPS satellite were captured by a U-Blox receiver module and the data processing part to compute precise position was implemented using MATLAB.

Seven Segment Display using Thermochromic Ink
The project was done in the role of an intern in the thesis work of a Ph.D. student. I was responsible for designing the driving circuit of the seven-segment display created using thermochromic ink. The role required coding to make the display work and interfacing the microcontroller(ARDUINO).

Image Processing in real-time with RasPi camera
This project was worked upon in 2 stages; the first part being interfacing a RaspberryPi board, with a RasPi camera. The aim was to have the camera mounted on a microscope, to allow it to click pictures and further process the images obtained using MATLAB. The various images obtained in real-time were processed using Image processing modules to get distinct clear images.

Carrier phase tracking of GNSS signals
In carrier phase tracking, a PLL(Phase locked loop) was designed in order to generate a local replica whose phase is perfectly synchronized with the carrier phase of the incoming signal. This estimates the synchronization error between the local carrier and the incoming signal carrier using a discriminator. This error was then filtered using a DCO(able to generate a local replica with a very specific frequency)..

Galois LFSR Implementation in Cryptography and Hardware-based Encryption
This paper aims at giving an insight into LinearFeedback Shift Registers and the use of Galois theory with Fibonacci Linear Feedback Shiftregisters to effectively reduce the number of inputs being provided in the XOR gates for the Linear Feedback Shift. This project thus proposed a hardware-based encryption

Communication Systems in Metro Railways
This training program was my first experience as an intern. It taught me about the different levels of communication methods presently used in the railway industry in our country. This included the basic technologies like optical and wireless communication as well as the new technologies used like GSM, TELNET, and CCTV.
